Senior Manager, Market Research

Reporting to the Head of Market Research, you will play a pivotal role in shaping BOC Aviation's strategic outlook by delivering forward-looking insights across airlines, OEMs, supply chains, and global macroeconomic trends. Your work will directly inform investment strategy, portfolio management, and client engagement. Key Responsibilities: • \tDelivering strategic insights on airline performance, financial health, and regional dynamics to guide client strategy and portfolio decisions. • \tLeading analysis of traffic and capacity trends, ADS-B datasets, and industry benchmarks. • \tAdvising senior management on geopolitical issues affecting fleet strategy and aircraft values. • \tProviding detailed comparative analysis of economic performance for key aircraft types • \tAssessing OEM health and long-term production scenarios to inform procurement and investment strategy. • \tDriving innovation in market intelligence systems through automation, AI, and dashboarding. • \tProviding strategic perspectives on competitor behaviour and financial markets. • \tIdentifying new revenue opportunities through analysis of leasing dynamics and market movements. • \tChampioning advanced data techniques to enhance forecasting, pricing, and planning. • \tProducing high-impact strategic papers and presentations for the senior leadership and Board. What We're Looking For Proven ability to influence senior executives and Boards through data-driven insights. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distil complexity into clarity. Experience in market research, strategy consulting, or finance within aviation, leasing, OEM, or investment environments. Strong analytical and financial acumen; experience with SQL, VBA, or Python is a plus. Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities. Proficiency in Chinese language is advantageous due to regional market coverage.
