Finance Manager (CA) - Pune (1-year contract)
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations of the company in Pune. You should have a minimum of 4 years of experience and report directly to the VP-Finance, leading a team of 2 direct reports.
Your primary focus will be ensuring full statutory compliance by maintaining a strong understanding of Indian taxation laws, including TDS, GST, and Income Tax. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely filing of returns, managing monthly closing activities, and liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies.
You will also manage cash flows and working capital requirements, lead and manage a team of finance executives, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies. Additional duties involve assisting in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and maintaining documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce, and be a qualified CA. Thorough knowledge of TDS, GST, and Income Tax laws, hands-on experience with accounting software, strong analytical skills, and effective communication and team management abilities are essential.
