What the role is: Oversee the 24/7 Jurong Island Operations Centre (JIOC) and provide guidance to a team of Duty Commanders and outsourced security officers to ensure checkpoint operations continue undisrupted. What you will be working on: Oversee initial Incident Management by Duty Commanders for safety and security-related incidents at the checkpoint and within Jurong Island. Respond on-site (24/7) when needed to direct operations. Review Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other security directives of JIOC to ensure clarity and alignment with threat assessments, statutory requirements such as the Infrastructure Protection Act (IPA) 2017, PAPP Act, and system enhancements. Develop new SOPs and directives as required. Ensure SOPs are validated through regular training exercises involving government agencies and Jurong Island companies. Ensure checkpoint security officers are trained to respond swiftly to incidents. Oversee training schedules and conduct, involving external agencies and tenants. Conduct regular meetings with outsourced security providers to review performance and improve processes through innovative solutions and technology. Collaborate with government agencies (e.g., SPF, SCDF, SAF) to develop Joint SOPs, conduct exercises, and discuss security matters. Investigate feedback and complaints regarding security operations, recommending process improvements. Coordinate construction, installation, and maintenance works within JIOC to ensure operations are uninterrupted. Perform shift work as Duty Commander when required, familiar with all operating systems, SOPs, incident management, and reporting roles. Take on additional project management responsibilities as directed by JISOD. What we are looking for: Good communication and report writing skills Strong analytical and leadership skills for effective incident management Ability to lead a team of Duty Commanders and security officers Willingness and ability to do shift work as Duty Commander when needed 3 to 4 years of experience in security planning and operations, including developing SOPs and security processes About JTC Corporation Master planner and developer since 1968, playing a strategic role in Singapore's industrial landscape.
