Job Summary

This position is responsible for overseeing tender activities, process design and costing, technical proposal preparation, tender clarification and presentation, and assisting the project team with technical matters. A successful candidate will possess a degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, as well as expertise in process design and calculation, particularly in membrane technologies and ion exchange processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and execute tender activities to secure new projects.
  2. Design and optimize processes to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize costs (CAPEX & OPEX).
  3. Develop comprehensive technical proposals, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
  4. Pursue tenders, respond to clarification requests, and participate in presentations to support sales efforts.
  5. Provide technical guidance and assistance to project teams on process design, calculations, and sequence of operation.
  6. Collaborate with colleagues to evaluate new products and identify opportunities for technical growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of process design and calculation, particularly in membrane technologies (MF/UF/RO/MBR), ion exchange (2B3T, MB, CPU, EDI) and pretreatment processes (coagulation/flocculation, sedimentation, clarification, filtration).
  • Relevant experience in project management and plant testing/commissioning is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, be highly motivated, driven by excellence, and detail-oriented.
