Description Join a dynamic digital marketing team seeking a talented video editor to transform long‐form podcast episodes into high‐quality branded short‐form content for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. You will be responsible for identifying compelling moments from provided podcast sources and editing them into visually engaging clips that capture attention within the first few seconds. The role requires a keen sense of pacing, storytelling, and the ability to align each edit with the host's unique tone and branding. You'll work directly with the founder, enjoy creative freedom, and contribute to a growing portfolio of business, health, and lifestyle podcasts. Fast turnaround is essential, with most projects expected within 24–48 hours. This is an ongoing opportunity with repeat assignments for those who excel. Deliverables Select and edit engaging moments from long‐form podcast episodes into short‐form clips (3–10 per episode)Add dynamic captions, subtle motion graphics, B‐roll, and brand elements (logos, colors)Ensure all edits are visually captivating, modern, and consistent with the host's aesthetic Deliver projects within 24–48 hours of assignment Collaborate directly with the founder for feedback and creative direction Provide paid test clips as part of the onboarding process Requirements Proven experience editing short‐form video content, ideally for podcasts or talking‐head formats Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)Ability to add motion graphics, captions, and branded elements Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Reliable, efficient, and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines Creative mindset with a passion for digital content and social media trends Please provide 2–3 examples of your best short‐form edits (preferably podcast or talking‐head), describe your usual turnaround time and tools, and include the phrase "fast hands, sharp mind" in your reply About Twine Twine is a leading freelance marketplace connecting top freelancers, consultants, and contractors with companies needing creative and tech expertise.
