Information Technology - Senior Data Scientist (Advanced AI Track)

Singapore Airlines is seeking experienced AI professionals to drive our AI and data science initiatives, focusing on generative AI and deep learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the AI Center-of-Excellence on advanced AI problems including generative multimodal AI, autonomous agents, NLP, computer vision, and recommender systems.
  • Research and develop machine learning algorithms to meet complex product requirements, including hypothesis testing, experimentation, and optimization for scalable, cloud-based deployment.
  • Provide technical guidance to a team of data scientists in delivering AI and data analytics products across business units.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop impactful AI features and products, ensuring strategic ownership of AI processes.
  • Manage cloud and on-premises GPU resources for training large models and deploying inference services.
Requirements
  • PhD in computer science, machine learning, or related AI fields; exceptional candidates without degrees considered.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical leadership.
  • Proficiency in Python, with experience in algorithm design, data structures, SQL, and at least intermediate skills in Scala, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or C#.
  • Experience with big data tools like Spark and Kafka.
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in machine learning, with expertise in areas such as LLM APIs, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), and deploying AI models.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non-technical teams.
