Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Plan and implement Preventive and Corrective Maintenance programs for Facilities Mechanical systems including Cleanroom HVAC, GHVAC, Exhaust, Exhaust scrubbers, Process Cooling Water, Chillers, Cooling Tower, Boilers, Heat Pump, Compressed Dry Air, Fire Protection, Potable Water, Non-Potable Water and Process Vacuum to ensure maximum equipment uptime and reliability.
Respond and problem solve Mechanical system issues and Manufacturing Production interruptions due to Mechanical related systems.
Support or lead Mechanical system expansion projects to facilitate tool utilities demand of future technology of manufacturing equipment.
Support or lead Mechanical engineering projects including new construction, system upgrading and quality improvement.
Plan, design and lead Cleanroom Facilities Mechanical system expansion projects to facilitate tool utilities demand of future technology of Manufacturing equipment.
Identify, evaluate and potentially implement advanced technology on Mechanical systems to improve electricity, waste or water reduction to align with Micron's Environmental Sustainability efforts.
Perform effective system capacity tracking and planning for Mechanical systems.
Enforce the company's Environmental Safety Health policy and procedure, Standard Operating Procedure with Risk Assessment, good housekeeping standard and quality policy when performing work.
Utilize computer-based software to document and analyze records of maintenance work orders, equipment history and project tracking.
Be responsible for continual improvement of preventive maintenance programs for systems to achieve optimal system performance and uptime.
Engage in driving System Reliability improvement initiatives to enable maximum equipment uptime and reduction of system interruptions.
Lead troubleshooting and timely response to site for system abnormalities to reduce production impacts. Carry out Root Cause analysis and implement action plans to prevent recurrence.
Innovate ideas and implement predictive maintenance through SMART Facilities initiative in collaboration with the control team.
Track and monitor equipment spare parts and consumable inventory.
Identify and enable smart technologies and AI for improvement of managed tasks, such as project tracking, maintenance overviews, budget tracking, etc.
Perform procurement tasks involving ARIBA / SAP software for the purchase of services and parts to upkeep the Facilities Mechanical system.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related field.
Knowledgeable and experienced in problem solving and data analysis methodology.
Considerable knowledge of Mechanical system maintenance practices, procedures and installation works.
Design and Engineering background of Mechanical systems such as Chiller plants, Exhaust & Compressed Dry air is a plus.
Proficient in quality tools such as 8D & 5 WHY analysis for troubleshooting or incident investigation.
Ability to understand and use P&ID, schematic diagrams, single-line drawings and related equipment and system documentation.
Ability to work in a team environment with various professional levels.
