Process Quality Officer, ALM Treasury SME
What is this position about?
Operations team is looking to hire an additional headcount to meet the resourcing requirements from upcoming projects and control enhancement initiatives. The role will be part of the Singapore-based APAC Middle Office P&L Subject Matter Expert (SME) team, overseeing Asset Liability Management & Treasury (ALMT) business. The SME function provides oversight on P&L production by the India offshore team (ISPL), facilitates communication between the ALMT desk and ISPL P&L team, and manages ad-hoc projects, investigations, and stakeholder requests.
What would a typical day at BNPP Paribas look like?
Primary Role Responsibilities
Perform daily/monthly/recurring BAU P&L control tasks to ensure the quality and accuracy of P&L reporting.
Support assigned projects by liaising with project teams, providing necessary information, and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Identify opportunities to streamline or improve existing processes and lead their implementation.
Resolve P&L issues promptly and accurately when they occur.
Handle audit-related queries and requests, and address identified gaps.
Other contributions
Update and maintain SOP documentation.
Prepare presentation decks and minutes for meetings.

Good understanding of ALMT products and their P&L reporting.
Strong data processing and analytical skills.
Effective project, task, and time management skills.
Proactive, independent learner capable of working with minimal supervision.
Collaborative team player.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Genuine interest in Finance/Accounting and a drive to learn.
Required education/certification/licenses
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
Prior experience in a similar role (Product Control/P&L analyst).
