Infrastructure Technical Specialist - 3 years direct contract East Systems, Network & Database Infrastructure Permanent SGD 6,000Job Description Brief Summary: Join a dynamic team where you will provide essential technical support and enhance system operations through effective management of various IT infrastructure components. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross‐functional teams while leading infrastructure initiatives. Provide support and maintenance for operating systems including Windows, Linux, IBM AIX, and Solaris. Deploy, configure, and maintain middleware infrastructure such as IBM WebSphere, IBM MQ, Red Hat JBoss EAP, and Red Hat JBoss A‐MQ. Install, configure, and manage database servers including IBM DB2, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. Install, configure, and maintain LDAP servers such as IBM Security Directory Server and Apache LDAP. Install, configure, and maintain container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP). Perform troubleshooting, patching, and upgrading of operating systems and middleware. Support bid activities by: Providing infrastructure sizing and deployment topology. Coordinating with cross‐functional stakeholders. Leading infrastructure‐related discussions for effective planning and deployment at customer sites. Job Requirements and Qualifications Experience : Minimum 5–8 years of IT experience. Technical Skills : Strong background in both operating system and middleware administration. Solid understanding of application architecture including authentication, web servers, database servers, application servers, and messaging servers. Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting. Hands‐on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. Certifications : Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Red Hat) are advantageous. Soft Skills : Willingness to explore legacy systems and adopt new cloud platform services. Positive attitude and team‐oriented.
