Job Summary The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the effective management, stability, and performance of SAP systems. The role involves daily system operations, configuration, monitoring, and technical support to ensure reliable and secure SAP environments.Key Responsibilities Ensure 24/7 SAP system availability and optimal performance. Manage user and client administration, authorization control, and performance monitoring. Handle system configuration, transport management, background jobs, patch management, system backup and recovery, and kernel upgrades. Conduct operating system and database maintenance to support smooth daily operations. Plan, implement, and manage SAP Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes. Manage SAP-related service tickets and ensure timely resolution within service-level targets. Maintain accurate documentation of SAP architecture, hardware, and integration setup. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support system enhancements and troubleshooting. Participate in SAP and IT-related projects to ensure timely and quality delivery. Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager. Job Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in SAP Basis Administration. Sound knowledge of SAP HANA and NetWeaver technologies. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA environment will be advantageous. Familiarity with Linux operating systems preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
