Architect – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (Singapore)Lead the architectural design for a greenfield Singapore plant, collaborating closely with design firms, stakeholders, and the construction team to ensure timely delivery of high‐quality construction documents and adherence to regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Provide subject‐matter expertise in the Project Engineering Team and support design activities based on project requirements. Coordinate design reviews with relevant stakeholders and oversee general architectural responsibilities, reporting to the Construction Director. Act as the primary liaison between construction, design, and procurement teams, ensuring clear communication of design intent and timely updates of shop drawings. Review shop drawings, propose cost‐effective and operationally efficient design solutions, and address tender queries. Coordinate with permitting authorities and Qualified Persons (QP) to obtain approvals and deliver architectural documents on schedule. Identify technical or permitting discrepancies, perform risk analysis, and manage remediation actions. Maintain accurate and timely drawings in alignment with the Project Master Program and ensure compliance with the Building Control Act. Support procurement package development through technical and specification compilation. Draft waiver documents and manage documentation and tendering processes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (recognized by the Board of Architects, Singapore). Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience in pharmaceutical or industrial construction. Expertise in Singapore local permitting requirements and cleanroom architecture under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. Strong knowledge of Buildability, Green Mark, Singapore Building Codes, and Regulations. Proficiency in 3D and 2D drafting software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
