Job Title: Network Infrastructure Specialist
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Network Infrastructure Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth operation of our network infrastructure by implementing effective solutions and providing exceptional service to customers.
- Understand and follow established support templates and standard operating procedures.
- Perform IOS upgrades and patches to resolve software issues in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot production issues and network/security problems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform RMA for hardware failures and replacement in production environment, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
- Conduct health checks for critical environments to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Establish staging and simulation environments for customer activities to facilitate efficient testing and validation.
- Work in 24/7 operations centre and be available for standby support during after-hours periods.
- Achieve customer SLA targets for all incidents and requests, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Escalate enterprise networking-related matters promptly to ensure timely resolution and minimize impact on operations.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation for configuration changes, facilitating easy access to knowledge and expertise.
- Responsibly manage the opening and closing of support tickets to ensure efficient issue tracking and resolution.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of ITIL principles, particularly Incident, Change, Problem and Service Management.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in network operations, with a strong understanding of network infrastructure and security.
- Proven ability to work effectively with vendors and customers in outage situations, ensuring seamless communication and rapid resolution.
- Hands-on experience in operations and BAU (Business As Usual) for fixing user/infra issues in production environment.
