The Role: Bring Our Story to Life Through Design & Motion
We are looking for a multi-skilled Junior Creative Designer to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to be the creative engine behind our brand across all digital and physical touchpoints. You\'ll own projects from concept to execution, creating everything from social graphics to short-form videos that engage our community and promote our programs.
Responsibilities
Design for Digital & Print:
Create compelling visuals for social media, email campaigns (eDMs), posters, banners, and event promotional materials.
Tell Stories Through Video:
Produce and edit engaging short-form videos—including social content, student testimonials, and event highlights—from shooting to final cut.
Build Our Digital Presence:
Collaborate with the IT team to design visual elements for our website, including banners, interactive features, and pop-ups.
Uphold & Evolve Our Brand:
Ensure all creative assets comply with ERC Institute and partner university branding guidelines, maintaining a consistent and professional visual identity.
Manage End-to-End Production:
Take ownership of projects from concept to delivery, including coordinating with external vendors for high-quality print production.
Collaborate for Impact:
Work with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas, enhance social media engagement, and translate concepts into effective visual communication for all stakeholders.
Who You Are
A recent graduate or entry-level professional with 0-1 year of experience and a portfolio that showcases your design and video skills.
Software Proficient:
Highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Basic to intermediate skills in video editing with Premiere Pro (or similar) are a strong plus.
A creative problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail, typography, and layout.
A proactive self-starter who can manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
An excellent communicator, eager to learn and contribute ideas.
A Diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred, but your portfolio is your strongest advocate.
