About the role Join the dynamic team at Sin Hwa Dee Foodstuff as a Research and Development Executive. This full-time role in the North Region will see you playing a crucial part in driving innovation and excellence within our Materials Sciences division. As an R&D specialist, you will be at the forefront of developing new and improved products that meet the evolving needs of our customers. What you'll be doing Conducting extensive research to identify new product opportunities and enhance existing offerings Designing and implementing robust testing protocols to assess product quality, performance and viability Collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, production and quality assurance teams to translate research insights into commercially successful products Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and competitor activity to inform the R&D strategy Documenting and presenting research findings to key stakeholders Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the R&D team What we're looking for Degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, ideally in Materials Sciences 8+ years of experience in a similar R&D role within the food manufacturing industry Proven track record of developing successful new products from ideation to launch Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into actionable insights Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, trends and best practices What we offer At Sin Hwa Dee Foodstuff, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
