Job Overview:

Our organization seeks an experienced and skilled System Administrator to manage the deployment and maintenance of virtual environments. This role requires a strong understanding of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, NetScaler, VMware Horizon, and Azure Virtual Desktop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and configure virtual environments using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Ensure seamless integration and deployment of Windows client and server operating systems.
  • Implement and manage system services such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, failover clusters, file servers, and Certificate Authority.
  • Configure and manage deployment environments for optimal performance and security.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate deployment, configuration, and management tasks.
  • Utilize automation tools to streamline deployment processes and ensure consistency.
  • Analyze and improve functionality related to user experience.
  • Implement best practices for performance tuning and optimization of virtual environments.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of deployment configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Monitor deployment processes and environments to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Perform post-deployment validation to ensure systems are functioning as expected.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure successful deployments.
  • Communicate deployment status, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders.
