Job Title: Advanced Mechatronics Engineer

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Mechatronics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Cost Engineering Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our semiconductor manufacturing process.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify, repair, and refurbish components within the cleanroom environment. This will involve troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with various equipment and systems, including turbo pumps, cryo pumps, LPT, indexers, robots, RPS, valves, chillers, heat exchangers, Smith loaders, electronics/PCBs/controllers, RF generators, RF matches, LPS, and power supplies.

You will also be responsible for conducting acceptance tests on repaired parts to ensure their functionality is repeatable and reproducible, as well as providing support to module Equipment Engineers and performing repairs for semiconductor production equipment and parts on an ad-hoc basis.

In addition, you will be required to perform inventory control on consumables and spare parts used in the repair workshop, source and liaise with vendors for quotations of required parts, and follow up on delivery timelines. Ensuring workplace safety at all times will also be a critical aspect of this role.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Microelectronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Expertise in either soldering, pumps, valves, or strong knowledge in Microelectronics
  • Able to perform circuit board repair and component level troubleshooting skills
  • Resourceful and has initiative
  • Working experience in front-end semiconductor industry would be advantageous
