OverviewThe Mastercard Franchise Resolutions team's mission is to promote balance and integrity in the payments ecosystem by arbitrating customer disputes and compromise events across various platforms. They achieve this through innovative processes, data analytics, and cyber intelligence. Mastercard's Dispute Resolution Management business unit handles chargeback-related responsibilities such as settling disputes, reviewing and deciding on arbitration and compliance cases, educating customers on chargeback processing, serving in a consultative capacity to internal and external audiences, and managing and evolving Mastercard chargeback and arbitration rules.
