We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Quality Engineer to help drive the automation testing efforts in our dynamic and innovative team. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by developing and maintaining robust and scalable automation frameworks. Your expertise in automation testing methodologies, tools, and best practices will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for test automation, continuous improvement, and optimizing our QA processes. Responsibilities Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans covering front-end interfaces, APIs, and webhooks. Testing: Front-end testing of UI for responsiveness, functionality, and compatibility across browsers and devices; API and webhook testing for data accuracy and adherence to standards; performance and scalability testing of web applications, APIs, and webhooks; regression testing to validate feature impact; automation development to build and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to address issues, provide feedback, and contribute to quality releases; identify, document, and prioritize defects and perform root cause analysis to improve processes. Who You Are Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with a focus on front-end applications, API, and webhook testing Strong expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)Strong understanding of RESTful API principles, webhooks, and data formats (JSON, XML)Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python for test automation Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and version control systems Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization technologies (Docker)Alignment with Ascenda's values of growth mindset, hands-on ownership, collaborative teamwork and simplicity Why Join Ascenda Ascenda offers the opportunity to lead in the fintech innovation space, shaping the future of rewards programs.
