Director, Credit Cards, Personal Loans and RWA – role at ACCA Careers.
Responsibilities
Provide analytics and insights for strategic and financial decisions for Global Credit Cards and Personal Loans (CCPL), including forecasting financial performance, returns and EVA optimization, Balance Sheet, Impairment, NII and RWA analytics, and benchmarking.
Support the CFO, Wealth and WRB Products and the Global Product teams in the review and optimization of RWA and Leverage for all WRB Products.
Act as the central coordinator across WRB Finance teams, Group and Country FP&A with regard to Credit Cards, Personal Loans, RWA and Leverage.
Review business financial performance and provide insights, opportunities and early warnings of challenges to the Global CCPL team and to CFO Wealth and WRB Products on global CCPL performance.
Review and analyse RWA and Leverage outcomes with the Group Product teams and country teams to track optimization progress.
Own flash, outlook, forecasting and monthly performance for Group CCPL in coordination with finance and business teams across markets.
Support the corporate plan process and other internal finance processes, particularly forecasting alignment across the countries.
Regular reporting and tracking of financials and non-financial value drivers in coordination with teams across business and finance in group and in the countries.
Transform the FP&A process for CCPL and RWA and Leverage to provide further insights for decision making.
Work effectively with finance and non-finance colleagues within WRB Group finance and country finance teams.
Ensure ongoing training and self-development for the current role and future growth opportunities.
Guide the extended team in India to ensure each member achieves their potential and the team delivers its collective agenda.
Participate in risk discussions to facilitate better communication of Group CCPL and RWA and Leverage risk matters.
Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework and regulatory requirements; represent the finance function at key WRB business forums and escalate issues that may impact finance responsibilities and financial performance.

Identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters in a proactive, collaborative way.

Our Ideal Candidate
12+ years of experience in finance at a leading global financial services firm, preferably banking.
Qualified Accountant such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent, or MBA (Finance) or other relevant qualification is preferred.
Strong understanding and or previous experience in Credit Cards and Personal Loans products and in RWA and Leverage is preferred.
Ability to develop forward-looking financial models and perform impact analysis.
Ability to design and prepare senior-level financial presentations and dashboards.
Demonstrated track record of leading and managing broad processes, challenging the status quo and embracing transformation.
Strong understanding of P and L, balance sheet and returns of financial products.
Strong commercial acumen.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage varied stakeholders and global teams within finance and business.
Ability to navigate complex situations and ambiguity.
