Ministry to Children and Youth

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Pastoral Team Staff, focusing on the Ministry to Children and Youth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing devotions, bible studies, and other aspects of spiritual formation for Church School teachers. They will also initiate and organize training and development for these teachers to keep them up-to-date with the latest teaching materials and methodology.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Spiritual Nurture (feed, train, protect, encourage)
  • Planning & Organising (assist in planning, organising and the smooth running of Church School activities)
  • Developing strategies to engage parents and raise awareness of the Church School
  • Liaising between the Ministry Committee and the Pastors' Office

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Theological Degree or Diploma and have relevant experience in Early Childhood Care or Children Ministry.

Required skills include:

  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
  • An innovative team player, self-motivated, pro-active
  • Building good rapport with children and parents

Able to develop effective strategies to engage parents and increase participation in the ministry.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by pastors or immediate supervisors.
