• Location: Japan (Himeji, Hyogo)• Working hours: 09:00 to 18:00 (Monday to Friday)• Variable bonus and Transport allowance providedJob responsibilities: Promote the client's products and value-added technical service to customers in Japan to deliver agreed sales targets, with the objective of growing business profitably and achieving customer satisfaction with value added support. PROBLEM SOLVING Participate in developing a creative and effective technical support to generate more sales Technical problems: Troubleshot customers' production problems Conduct production run for new products at customer's factory Resolve technical or commercial issues with customers Obtain accurate market information on pricing, processing conditions and product properties; motivate good agents/distributors and technical team/staff; balance between maintenance of sufficient stock levels for quick response to orders and low stock target Identify potential new market opportunities that will drive sales growth Customer service support: Acting as a backup for the customer service function. Attending and replying to customers'enquires whenever the need arises INDEPENDENCE Scheduling of customer visits, prompt response to customers' inquiries and able to attend to customers and manage customer service-related tasks and responsibilities Job requirements: Education: Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or relevant Leather College Experience: 3 - 5 years relevant industry experience in marketing, technical service & business development Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to communicate with English-speaking clients and internal stakeholders Good communication skills in Japanese both written and verbal, to communicate with Japanese-speaking clients and internal stakeholders in Japan Has strong interest in sales with a sound technical chemical background Has strong interpersonal social skills to strengthen good relationships with customers Has an open mind and a good listener Excellent communicator to manage demanding customers and deal with difficult issues and understand customers' needs High-energy self-motivator who enjoys taking on challenges as well as collaborative team player Be results-oriented, proactive and ambitious Capable of working with global team of different nationalities and cultures Experience in Japanese markets or culture Exposure to chemicals and machine operations with frequent traveling Interested applicants, please send your resume to Charlene (R ) at with the email subject header "Technician (research & development, work in Japan) ".We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
