Overview Join to apply for the Senior Fire & Hydraulics Engineer role at Arup. We are looking for a Senior Fire & Hydraulics Engineer to provide expert consultancy services, mentor emerging talent, and help shape sustainable solutions across the region. You'll play a strategic role in delivering complex designs, enhancing technical capabilities, and collaborating across disciplines. Responsibilities Lead detailed fire protection and hydraulic design for multidisciplinary building and infrastructure projects. Provide technical leadership and ensure delivery excellence across all project phases. Mentor and support junior team members, sharing your expertise and fostering a culture of learning. Prepare and present detailed tenders, reports, and strategic client advice. Collaborate regionally and globally, sharing specialised knowledge and promoting best practices. Qualifications A recognised degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with 5-6 years of consulting experience. Extensive technical knowledge of fire protection and hydraulic systems, codes, and safety standards. Professional chartership or equivalent accreditation in your area of expertise. Proven leadership, communication, and mentoring skills in a dynamic team environment. A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for technical excellence and sustainable outcomes.
