Back to job listings Senior Software Engineer, Web Singapore Serbia Remote What We Need An experienced fullstack developer is required in the core development team. The team develops products that automate processes within the company, develops pages and components of the twelvedata.com site, improves site performance and customer experience. We make a high-quality intranet, meeting the high requirements of our users - Twelve Data employees. In our interfaces, we value not only safety and reliability but also functionality and convenience. We are looking for a responsible developer willing to participate in the design and development of complex web interfaces in a cohesive and engaged team. We expect from the candidate the ability to find a creative approach to solving non-standard problems. Basic Requirements:

Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.
Work with the Git version control system, understanding Git Flow.
Knowledge of the following instruments and protocols: Laravel, jQuery, PostgreSQL, Redis, REST API, Web Sockets.
Knowledge of CSS/JS preprocessors and build systems (Webpack).
Experience or desire to develop large projects.
Understanding the modern web development stack.
Working environment: PhpStorm, GitLab, GitAhead. Ubuntu or macOS is preferred.
Working hours: Daytime in a European timezone is preferred.

The Ideal Candidate Is Expected To:

Write internal tools and libraries that many projects and developers will use.
Interact with users and developers to make products better.
Have experience with container virtualization (Docker).
Participate in the development of the client-side architecture.
Spot and resolve performance and scalability issues.

To achieve this we aggregate and store huge volumes of data to be indexed and structured. Our backend system relies on custom terabytes-scale distributed time series databases to store and retrieve data at high speed.
