The Infrastructure M&E Engineer is responsible for overseeing all on-site M&E construction activities and reporting to the Project Manager. This involves independently managing daily site progress, coordinating construction works, and ensuring performance meets standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site M&E construction activities and report to the Project Manager.
- Independently manage daily site progress and coordinate construction works.
- Read and understand M&E drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Attend project meetings and provide regular updates on site progress.
- Supervise site staff, workers, and subcontractors to ensure performance meets standards.
- Manage delivery and use of materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies in drawings with consultants before execution.
- Maintain and update project schedules and site construction plans.
- Prepare and manage site setup plans (e.g. access, hoisting, utilities, office areas).
- Ensure quality control through inspections and pre-handover checks.
- Verify that materials used meet approved specifications and are properly documented.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- At least 7–10 years of experience in M&E works, especially on LTA infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in completing projects on time and within budget.
- Strong coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
- Able to handle pressure and work both independently and in a team.
