Overview Hudson is partnering with a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry to recruit an Assistant Finance Manager. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional with an external audit background to further develop their career in commercial finance. Key Responsibilities Manage financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Oversee finance operations, including month-end closing, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting activities. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors on audit and reporting matters. Key Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with a professional accounting qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA). 4–5 years of experience, with an external audit background (mandatory) and subsequent exposure in a commercial accounting/finance role. Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on experience in financial reporting and finance operations. Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
