Responsibilities:
Explore, recommend and assess alternate sources, to provide new supply opportunities.
Collection of information about problems, delays, emergencies on supplies, hence contributing to the definition of effective solutions as well as evaluating supplier’s risk assessment.
Negotiate / maintain contracts & agreements, evaluating all compliance through effective supplier communications and ensuring efficient flow of all conditions / clauses.
Review & Conduct Supplier’s Performance Evaluation Cycle.
Prepares / present sourcing reports to the management and the cross-functional teams on a regular basis.
Competent in quotation screening and analysis prior to management approval.
Requirements:
Minimum Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain or equivalent certifications.
Proven experience in sourcing and with thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies.
Knowledge in Procurement System.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with external suppliers and internal customers.
Resourceful, self-driven, pro-active and independent worker.
Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
Proficient in use of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP / MRP.
