Senior OutSystems Developer/ Team Lead – Internal and External Applications

We are hiring experienced OutSystems Developers/ Team Lead (depending on the experience) to join our client's software engineering team.

Opportunities are available in both internal and external application teams. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable solutions using the OutSystems low-code platform. Your work will support business objectives and technical requirements across a range of applications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and architecting robust, maintainable solutions
  • Managing system integrations
  • Leading junior developers and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Mentoring junior team members and resolving complex technical issues
  • Overseeing the delivery of secure, high-performing applications
  • Collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align development efforts with business goals

You are expected to stay up to date with OutSystems platform advancements and apply them effectively to maximize value in an enterprise environment.

This role requires a solid technical background and proven leadership experience in software development.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead one or more development teams in application implementation.
  • Convert business requirements into scalable, effective application solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to development best practices.
  • Design, develop, and test OutSystems applications following established coding standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other technical teams and business analysts as needed.
  • Evaluate existing applications for performance, architecture, and design, and refactor using OutSystems design patterns.
  • Perform root cause analysis to resolve defects, leveraging expertise in applications, interfaces, and technology.
  • Develop flexible data models and seamless integration points.
  • Mentor junior team members in their daily tasks and professional growth.
