Roles & Responsibilities

Job Scope:

As a Hostess/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, creating a welcoming and professional first impression. You will manage front desk operations efficiently while ensuring high-quality customer service for both English and Mandarin-speaking customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
  • Manage reservations, guest inquiries, and seating arrangements.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries professionally.
  • Provide accurate information about the company's services, promotions, or ongoing events.
  • Assist in managing appointment schedules and guest flow during peak hours.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized reception or waiting area.
  • Communicate clearly and courteously with customers in both English and Mandarin.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with other departments or team members for smooth operations.
  • Perform administrative support duties such as filing, data entry, and documentation when required.

Requirements:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage guest expectations calmly under pressure.
  • Presentable and professional appearance.
  • Prior experience in a customer service, receptionist, or hospitality role is an advantage.
