Overview What the role is: (Senior) Development Partner Northeast Asia & Oceania (HQ)What you will be working on Based in HQ, you will help Singapore companies expand into Northeast Asia & Oceania (e.g. Japan, Korea). Establish good relationships with overseas counterparts and partners, and navigate regulatory frameworks and business culture. Collaborate with colleagues in overseas centres (OCs) to engage foreign government representatives and business partners, identify key growth industries, and develop market-sector strategies. Build up the capabilities and domain knowledge of the Northeast Asia & Oceania team. Work with Industry Clusters colleagues, foreign partners and counterparts to build up local industries and ecosystems. What we are looking for Be independent and resourceful with good business acumen. Strong analytical and communication skills with minimally JLPT N2 proficiency in Japanese. Korean language proficiency is a plus. We are looking for confident candidates with an open mind and the ability to think outside the box, while coping well under pressure.
