Description What the role is: You will be part of a team spearheading the development of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) in the planning and deployment of sensors for data collection to serve as insights towards traffic operations and management as well as policy decision making and strategic planning to improve the safety and efficiency of the road network for commuters. What you will be working on: Your work will involve leading and managing projects in areas such as contract tendering, design review, system and software implementation, field installation, as well as system commissioning and maintenance. You will also be involved in leading collaborations with both internal and external stakeholders in technological exploration and feasible studies to establish engineering requirements and performance specifications. What we are looking for: Knowledge in Computer/Electronic Engineering or equivalent. At least 3 years' experience in system engineering, design thinking, software development, deployment and integration of sensor devices, project management and maintenance work in related fields preferred Experience with Cloud architecture solutioning, Internet-of-Things (IoT), programming, video and/or data analytics, machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as Python, will be advantageous. Good writing, communication and presentation skills. Able to work independently as well as in a team. Possess initiative and resourcefulness as well as keen interest in problem-solving. Have strong sense of responsibility and analytical mind. As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
