Description Overview You will be part of a cross-functional, self-organizing DevOps squad responsible for the existing DevOps pipeline and future new ones. You will collaborate with Infra, Dev, and security teams to deliver reliable and production-ready pipelines. In your capacity as the DevOps Engineer/Specialist, you will be responsible for the design and development of DevOps solutions. You will apply sound design and best practices to deliver quality work and align the DevOps discipline with scaling and evolving business transaction demands, while continuously looking for ways to improve and optimize the DevOps solution. Responsibilities Pickup and kick-off cards with leads to understand the task, obtain required clarifications, and propose alternative solutions. Assess and implement changes with high quality and test coverage. Showcase and review new changes with the team. Work with development and QA members to solve challenges. Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to other team members. Carry out feasibility studies and impact analyses for new features. Proactively contribute innovative ideas for improvements. Evaluate, select and formulate the best solution for technical spike cards. Support the production environment and address escalated issues as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent Familiar with GitLab and its tools About 2 years’ experience in deployment pipelines/testing tools (e.g., build/test frameworks) Familiarity with AWS (AWS certifications such as SysOps or DevOps Pro) CKA certification Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation; proficient in Python, Ruby, Golang; OS deployment scripting Experience in automation using Lambda or scripts Familiarity with Packer, Terraform, Kubernetes-external-secrets, kube2iam Experience in Agile development methodology Test Driven Development and trunk-based development Job Details Seniority level: Entry level Employment type: Contract Job function: Management and Manufacturing Industries: Staffing and Recruiting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Manpower Singapore.
