Overview You will be part of the team responsible for managing the planning, procurement and execution of assigned building construction packages in Terminal 5 development. You may also be tasked with design and construction management of the road tunnels and APM stations / tunnels for Terminal 5 development. This role serves as the key interface between consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, safely, within budget and of the highest quality standard. Responsibilities Manage the planning, procurement and execution of assigned building construction packages in Terminal 5 development. Possibly contribute to design and construction management of road tunnels and APM stations/tunnels for Terminal 5 development. Act as the primary interface between consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, safely, within budget and to high-quality standards. Requirements Good degree in Mechanical Engineering. At least 8 years of relevant working experience in the design and project management of mechanical systems for tunnels, infrastructure, rail development or building services. Proven track record in the design and implementation of mechanical systems for large-scale projects or infrastructure construction packages. Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes. Good knowledge of the design codes and standards for M&E Systems. Familiar with the Authorities' requirements and the submissions and approvals. Self-motivated, driven, assertive and analytical with good written and verbal communication skills. Able to work independently to deliver results and have good project management skills. Good team player and able to handle fast-paced projects. This role requires both deep functional knowledge of mechanical systems, and the flexibility to manage projects across other functional/technical areas besides mechanical systems.
