About the role
Join MGI Taxation Services Pte Ltd as a full-time Tax Assistant based in our office in the Downtown Tanjong Pagar Central Region. In this role, you will be an integral part of our Taxation team, providing valuable support in the preparation and filing of tax returns for our diverse range of clients.
What you'll be doing
Assist in the preparation and submission of income tax returns for individuals and businesses
Gather and organise financial data and documentation required for tax filing
Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities to improve tax planning and minimise tax liabilities for clients
Continually develop your knowledge and skills in taxation to provide the best possible service
What we're looking for
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office applications
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients
A team player with a proactive and adaptable approach
Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar tax or accounting role
