Overview
This is a newly created position working closely with an established senior management team that embraces a high-performance culture. The firm is multi-asset with real estate as a major portfolio and is expanding its team to manage the logistics portfolio and asset enhancement activities.
Responsibilities
Formulate and execute the overall Fund strategy, including overseeing asset allocation and asset management plans to achieve investment targets.
Oversee, prepare and manage annual asset plans, budgets, and financial reports with the assistance of the asset management and finance teams.
Actively monitor the performance of the Fund(s) under management; propose and implement strategies to drive overall performance, including recommending asset enhancement, redevelopment, divestment opportunities, and managing the sale process.
Participate in development/investment transaction processes; liaise with stakeholders in conceptualization, formulation, and implementation of asset enhancement or customer initiatives and projects to ensure timely implementation.
Maintain good tenant relationships and oversee lease negotiations to achieve high occupancy, including setting leasing strategy, re-gearing leases, and negotiating surrender/reletting opportunities; work with appointed property agents to ensure assets are well-managed.
Qualifications
Degree in Finance, Real Estate, or equivalent; at least 5 years’ experience in direct real estate investments and private equity funds.
Highly numerical with strong financial modelling skills and an analytical mindset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fast learner, able to work independently, multi-task, and execute efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Hands-on and able to connect the dots.
