About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented Facility Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility equipment and systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

">
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine checks to ensure the optimal performance of our facility equipment and systems. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repairs on material handling equipment (MHE), machinery, and associated building services.
  • Building Repairs: Conduct general building facility repairs, including electrical, plumbing, painting, and landscaping.
  • Vendor Coordination: Supervise and coordinate with vendors and external service providers for services maintenance and repairs.
  • Team Support: Support other departments with facility-related needs and maintenance services.
  • Communication: Maintain good communication and work closely with team members and supervisors in coordinating facilities maintenance operations. Provide updates and follow up on outstanding repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of services maintenance activities, reports, and inventory.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency repairs and breakdowns, including after-hours support.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Minimum Secondary Levels / ITE with Facility Management experiences and M&E exposures.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Physical Demands: Physically fit; this role may require carrying heavy items.
  • Maintenance Skills: Hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of M&E systems and MHE.
  • Safety Standards: Maintain safety, health, and operational quality standards.
  • Work Environment: Willingness to work in an oil and grease environment.
  • Flexibility: Willing to work overtime whenever required.
  • Attendance and Attitude: Good attendance and attitude.
  • Personality Traits: Teamwork orientated, committed, and ethical behavior personality.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess a forklift license and Fire Safety relevant experiences will be an added advantage.
  • Additional Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and site plans an added advantage.
