Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist Responsibilities Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis. Support the preparation of monthly management reports, including profit and loss statements, reporting deck to submit to group as well as presentation deck for respective service line in the firm. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement. Maintain and update databases to support business planning. Collaborate with different departments (audit, tax, advisory, operations) to gather and analyze relevant financial data. Help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in accordance with internal policies and accounting standards. Participate in the development and implementation of reporting tools or process improvements. Assist in ad hoc analysis and projects as required by management. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Applicants with relevant qualifications and up to two years of experience are welcome. Entry-level candidates will also be considered. Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and comfortable with data analysis; knowledge of Workday or other visualization tools is an advantage. Knowledge of data analytical tool or AI tool experience will be preferred. Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments. Self‐motivated, eager to learn, and able to work under minimal supervision.
