He/She is responsible for the day-to-day operational work flow in the Nursing Department.Attend case management rounds, family conferences to ensure that appropriate care and needs of the patients are rendered as well as to resolve problems and attend to feedbacksPerform “on call” dutiesAppraise staff performance and counsel when necessaryCompile monthly Incidents and Infections statistics as necessaryMaintain a safe and therapeutic environment for delivery of services.Administration / Management Commit to best practices and building collegiality within the organization.Maintain discipline of staff effectively, responsible for their uniform code, punctuality, attendance and adherence to the institute’s code of conductConduct performance appraisal according to organization policyConduct monthly ward meetingSecondary Duties and Responsibilities Attend and participate in staff meetings and course evaluation and debrief.Participate in volunteering activities.Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Head of Department.Job Requirements Degree in Nursing that is recognised by the SNB, or a Post Basic QualificationRegistration with SNB as a Registered NurseAcute hospital or Community hospital experienced preferredPreferably 5 years of work experience in providing nursing care; and in a nursing supervisory function in respect of the provision of nursing care, at any inpatient ward of a hospital or nursing homeGood public relations and communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookSeniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function Health Care ProviderIndustries Hospitals and Health CareReturn-to-Nursing Programme (Registered / Enrolled Nurse)We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
