The Role
We are seeking motivated individuals to join us as a Business System Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, making sense of data, and identifying areas for data representation improvement. You will also help to solve basic office IT issues with the assistance of an IT vendor to optimize operational efficiency. You will work closely with various departments to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
Job Description:
Discuss with internal end users/business stakeholders to develop a thorough understanding of their needs and identify, analyze, and translate these business requirements into technical specifications.
Develop and manage Management Information System reports (e.g., Sales, Inventory, Staff, and Outlet performance) and Dashboards, integrating ongoing requirements and new features based on requirements provided by business users.
Improve systems by studying current processes and designing modifications. For example, automate processes by developing scripts and codes from MS SQL database to supplement the SAP system.
Design scripts to handle errors from source documents to check for accuracy and inconsistencies before upload to the analysis platform.
Provide user training and support to ensure effective utilization of dashboards and IT solutions.
Provide first-level SAP helpdesk support when needed, troubleshoot first-level SAP issues for local operations, and escalate to the vendor if necessary.
Provide ongoing support on in-house CRM applications, its analysis platform including tablets, and network maintenance.
Liaise closely with vendors and group IT in project implementation, application testing, supporting application patching, and upgrades.
Maintain knowledge of server and office equipment including laptops/printers and business email setup.
Day-to-day system support for software, hardware, and network issues, if the need arises.
Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
Ideal Profile:
Preferably at least 3 years of relevant working experience implementing or managing MS SQL, central data warehouse, and managing analysis platforms.
Experience in Python, SQL (database), Power BI, and VBA.
Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology preferred.
Proven competency with systems and have been a key user or involved in business systems implementation, upgrade, or management.
Highly analytical and possess strong commercial acumen to analyze useful data on business performance.
Programming experience in PowerBI/Power Query. Some knowledge of SAP is a plus.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, basic Network Administration, and basic Hardware and Software knowledge.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
