Job Summary The restaurant supervisor oversees the daily operations of a restaurant, managing staff, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and ensuring guest satisfaction with food and service. Primary Responsibilities Supervises staff members and assigns tasks and responsibilities Ensures all staff members adhere to proper food handling and safety procedures Maintains clean and organized restaurant environment Manage inventory and orders supplies as needed Assists with menu planning and development Communicate with customers and provide exceptional service Handles customer complaints and resolves issues in a timely manner Creates employee schedules and manages labor costs Train and develop employees to improve performance and productivity Monitors and maintains restaurant budgets and financial reports Qualifications Previous experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures Excellent customer service skills Ability to manage staff and delegate tasks effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing situations, and multitask Proficient in using restaurant management software and other computer programs Associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred The restaurant supervisor plays an important role in ensuring the success of a restaurant. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a strong commitment to achieving customer satisfaction and maintaining a strong team dynamic. A successful restaurant supervisor will be able to manage the daily operations of the restaurant while providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.
