The firm advises on Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands laws, from offices in those jurisdictions and in the key financial centres of Hong Kong, London and Singapore.
What Will You Do
You will work very closely with our disputes & restructuring partner and lawyers. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provide all-rounded legal and administrative support to the disputes and restructuring team.
Prepare and draft engagement letters, legal documents, and compile bundles.
Perform file opening, conduct conflict and KYC searches, attend to KYC-related correspondences, and coordinate with Compliance and Finance teams to ensure compliance with internal procedures.
Prepare bills.
Conduct legal research.
Monitor deadlines; efficient file and database management.
Any other legal support as assigned.
What You'll Need
Diploma in Law / Legal Studies or relevant Degree qualification.
2 years of relevant experience in a law firm.
Highly organised, resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, and other language skills a plus.
