Position: Regional Air Freight Pricing Head - APAC Company Overview: Hatch Asia Consulting is a leading consulting firm that specializes in providing innovative and customized solutions to companies in the Asia Pacific region. Job Overview: We are exclusively partnered with a reputable and global freight forwarding company in search for a highly experienced Regional Air Freight Pricing Head. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the air freight pricing strategy and operations for our clients in the region. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to develop and implement effective pricing strategies that will drive profitability and growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement air freight pricing strategies for clients in the Asia Pacific region Analyze market trends and competition to identify pricing opportunities and risks Collaborate with internal teams to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives Attend weekly and monthly Trade Lane and business development calls to support airfreight business development Conduct regular pricing reviews and make recommendations for adjustments as needed Negotiate pricing agreements with airlines and other service providers Provide guidance and support to regional teams on pricing-related matters Design and roll out air freight solutions with operations during the tender Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in market conditions that may impact pricing Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and service providers Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in air freight pricing, preferably in the Asia Pacific region Strong understanding of air freight market trends and dynamics Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Proven experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Willingness to travel within the Asia Pacific region as needed We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
