Work Location: Jurong Island
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Co-ordinate the day to day operational activities and order scheduling between production units, and 3rd party service provider(s).
Ensure the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
Review, prepare, and route purchase orders in SAP and Logistics tool.
Address and resolve shipment and foreseeable inventory issues.
Monitor land and sea shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
Contribute to 3rd party performance management reviews, monitor performance KPIs to boost continuous performance improvement.
To validate and process invoices for Supply Chain's suppliers.
Performing goods receipt for monthly fixed/non-fixed charges.
Prepare monthly closing report.
Assist the Supply Chain team with ad-hoc logistics operations / troubleshoot activities
Knowledge Requirements:
· Knowledge of end-to-end logistics operations (including ocean, over-the-road transportation, rail, customs and warehousing)
· Knowledge of DG transport handling
· Working knowledge of legal regulations and ISO requirements.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skills Requirements:
· Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain management or relevant field
· 5+ years experience in logistics co-ordination a chemical manufacturing company
· Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Office and some knowledge on logistics software.
· Good management and organizational skills.
· Strong problem-solving skills
