We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO consultant to maintain and support JTC's Finance system which is currently outsourced to a third party vendor. Candidate will play a key liaison role between Finance, IT and the Application Maintenance Service vendor. To work closely with the AMS vendor to ensure smooth day-to-day operation and provide on-going support with business users, and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields. SAP Certification in FICO module is preferred
At least 5 years (with at least 2 years in a leadership role) of SAP FICO experience including full-cycle system implementation (S/4 HANA preferred) and post-implementation support
Understanding of SAP FICO configurations and knowledge of integration points between FICO and other SAP modules like SD, MM and HR
Knowledge on different integrations (SFTP, APIs, RFCs, PI/PO, EDI, Webmethods and webservices) with SAP is preferred
Basic knowledge using ABAP programming and debugging is preferred
Knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles
Experience in project management methodologies in the SAP context
Experience in system AMS and vendor management
Good communication skills with strong business knowledge and able to interact with business users independently
Can collaborate with other application teams on technical integrations and process touchpoints
Independent with strong analytical skills with hands on experience in SAP Functional modules
Understanding of ERP Finance best practices
