As a Programme Coordinator , you will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of after-school programmes at CHIJ St. Theresa's Convent in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision & Safety:

    • • Maintain a safe and secure environment, ensuring the well-being of students at all times.

    • • Monitor student activities and provide guidance on maintaining discipline and good conduct.

    • • Possess First Aid certification (training will be provided if not certified) to respond effectively to any medical emergencies that may arise.

    • • Ensure continuity in supervision by identifying and replacing personnel with an equally qualified one in case of staff resignation or termination.

  • Student Engagement & Support:

    • • Foster positive relationships with students and provide emotional support to help them cope with academic and personal challenges.

    • • Encourage active participation in structured activities and provide opportunities for students to explore their interests and talents.

  • Programme Coordination:

    • • Collaborate with teachers and school committees to plan, implement, and oversee the execution of after-school programmes.

    • • Assist in developing and managing enrichment activities, study sessions, and recreational opportunities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of students.

  • Collaboration & Communication:

    • • Establish effective communication channels with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.

    • • Address student behavioural concerns constructively, working closely with teachers and parents to develop strategies for improvement.

  • Administrative Duties:

    • • Maintain accurate attendance records, tracking student participation and progress throughout the programme.

    • • Gather feedback from students, teachers, and parents to inform programme development and improve services.

    • • Establish protocols for contacting parents in cases of student absence or other programme-related issues.

    • • Develop strong relationships with students and parents, fostering a sense of community and cooperation.

Experience & Requirements:

  • • A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in after-school engagement services, preferably in a school environment.

  • • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students, teachers, and parents.

  • • Proven ability to manage and engage students effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
