We are seeking an experienced Project Manager. This personnel will be involved in activities related to projects, programme and project management globally for in-service vessel fleet projects, upgrade projects, docking/overhaul projects, tools and method improvement activities. The role will also provide assistance to our global sales team on new offerings. He/she will be responsible for day-to-day management of tasks and resources in delivery projects, planning, execution, and the results in terms of economy and quality with full accountability for the P/L within the project.
What You Will Be Doing
Accountable for project execution within KM GCS management system processes
Accountable for managing scope, time, costs, communication, and risks in the project portfolio
Lead complex project organizations and ensure cooperation across several business units and functions
Assist Global Sales Team with both technical and commercial input
Implement new routines and guidelines according to GCS Aftermarket Projects strategies
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
We think you should have
Experience in project management
Bachelor or masters degree in engineering. Other relevant studies, courses or experience can weigh up for lack of formal education
Courses within project management (Prince 2) is an advantage
Any technical background or skills will be considered positive
Experience with ERP systems is an advantage (Baan, Axapta 2012, Dynamics 365)
Experience from working directly with customers in Maritime industry
Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
