Work you will do
This role sits within the Technology Strategy and Transformation (TS&T) team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, encompassing IT Strategy, Transformation Delivery, and Program Management. As a senior member of the team, you will lead PMO and delivery management across complex technology transformation programs, ensuring structured governance, effective planning, and seamless execution. You'll be responsible for managing risks, resolving issues, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking performance to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets. Additionally, you'll contribute to the growth and maturity of the TS&T practice by shaping delivery frameworks, mentoring teams, and supporting the execution of solutions across IT Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, Application Development, and Business Transformation.
You will oversee and monitor delivery progress across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and overall project milestones
You will continuously refine and optimize the WBS to reflect evolving task statuses and delivery realities, enabling accurate forecasting and resource planning
You will lead weekly cross-functional status review sessions with Development, Testing, Migration, and Release Management teams to drive accountability and resolve blockers
You will consolidate and synthesize input from delivery teams into executive-level weekly status reports, highlighting key achievements, risks, and upcoming priorities
You will proactively identify and escalate delivery challenges, risks, and dependencies to the Integration Lead and Delivery Manager, supporting timely resolution and mitigation strategies.
What we are looking for
If you are someone with:
A good honors Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Engineering or related disciplines.
8+ years of professional experience, with a proven track record in the IT industry
Experience in IT Strategy, IT Transformation, IT Operation, IT Optimization.
Experience in IT project management
Experience in banking or financial services
Demonstrated understanding of regional banking IT systems, with hands-on experience in blueprinting banking system landscape across APAC operations.
Proven track record in governance, reporting, and stakeholder coordination
High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and independent working style
Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, be self-motivated, and be able to work in stressful situations with changing priorities
Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to think out-of-the-box, work under pressure and tight project timelines
Drive, tenacity, client focused, and results oriented
Proven demonstration of sound business acumen, teamwork, and leadership qualities.
An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a pre-requisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment
Preferred Skills and Experience:
3+ years of working experience in a global consulting firm is highly preferred.
Experience with large-scale projects in a Japanese culture.
Certified in Project Management
Experience working with Jira
Familiar with Central Project Management Office (CPMO)
