Job Title: Asset Specialist

The role of the Asset Specialist revolves around effective management of regional inventory levels for a given product portfolio. This involves meeting sales requirements, managing business risk, and reducing excess or bad inventory.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining good inventory turns and reducing XB inventory through prompt buy placement and consistent PBO reviews.
  • Ensuring timely purchases through IMS - Inventory Management System.
  • Coodinating stocking packages with Product Marketing.
  • Profile inventory (common bond, customer specific, NCNR).
  • Decreasing bad and excess inventory through coordinated programs.

Additional responsibilities involve resolving pricing discrepancies with marketing/suppliers, receiving discrepancies with APDC/marketing, rejected transfers with Corporate/UK, and ensuring proper management of RTV quality issues with suppliers.

This role requires coordination with Marketer and Senior Product Manager-Asset on stock rotation quantity and amount, as well as arranging returns with APDC and RMA department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all requirements are met/fulfilled according to Asset Buy Process SOP, meeting quarterly inventory/PBO targets, providing guidance to MSR-Marketing Support Representative, and conducting weekly reviews with Senior Product Manager-Asset on Inventory/PBO and Asset-related issues.

Recommended qualifications include a minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience in purchasing or a similar capacity.

While prior experience is preferred, candidates with no experience are also welcome to apply.
