Senior System Engineer We’re searching for a Senior System Engineer to be part of our diverse team of talent here at NCSIf you believe in going above and beyond, want to exemplify the best, and wish to bring people and technology together like never before, then we would love to have a conversation with youResponsibilities Provide technical support for maintenance, patching, and upkeep of Microsoft, Nutanix and Citrix server systems, load balancers, and proxies. Assist in managing compliance-related tasks to ensure regulatory adherence. Collaborate in troubleshooting and resolving system issues to minimise downtime. Support day-to-day service and change requests, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Manage IT equipment inventory, including tracking, condemnation, and disposal processes. Coordinate with vendors and clients to facilitate deployments, system refreshes, and other technical initiatives. Qualifications Minimum three (3) years of relevant working experience. Good technical skills in engineering, computer, and IT systems, and preferably in communications technologies as well Good working knowledge of Life Cycle Management and Systems Engineering in Windows server platform not limited to Microsoft System Centre suite of products. Microsoft Server Operating System Ubuntu Redhat Citrix Virtual Desktop BeyondTrust PIM/PAM RSA Security Appliance Splunk Solarwinds Tenable VMS Veeam Backup Ansible Automation Platform Microsoft Endpoint Manager – MEM SCCM SCOM SCVMM F5 Load Balancer At least 1-3 years’ experience in Information Technology industry in the areas of Microsoft, Nutanix or Citrix system implementation, project management and O&S. Good communication and writing skills Experience in performing project management, handling technical challenges, and liaising with users and vendors to define business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
