Job Description
About the job
Reporting to the Swedish Food Market (SFM) & Bistro Manager, you will support the daily operations of SFM & Bistro by maintaining good housekeeping, delivering food of exceptional quality, and providing excellent customer service to our IKEA customers.
Your responsibilities
Taking orders through the cash register at Swedish Food Market (SFM) & Bistro.
Processing food orders at the bistro counter.
Assisting with meal ingredient preparation and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation areas.
Supporting cleaning and sanitising of food preparation areas according to hygiene standards.
Unloading delivered food supplies, checking stock inventory, and ensuring accuracy of inventories.
Practicing FIFO (First-In-First-Out) to ensure food freshness and quality.
Adhering to operating procedures and contributing to high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (Q.S.C.), complying with Food Safety and Hygiene practices.
Supporting store operations and contributing to the Functional Commercial Review Standards.
Your profile
You are motivated, responsible, and possess strong time management skills.
You are a team player capable of working independently.
You can work in a fast-paced food environment and withstand prolonged standing hours.
You are available to work on AM/PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
