At DP World, we're seeking a dynamic Vice President, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) – APAC to champion a safety-first culture across the region by embedding DP World's Commitments We Live By (CWLB) into all operational practices. This exciting role will ensure regulatory and operational excellence, leading transformative initiatives that support sustainable growth.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Operations - APAC, you'll guide a high-performing regional team, embed global standards, and drive continuous improvement across a diverse and fast-paced logistics network.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Champion a proactive, safety-first culture across the APAC region, aligned with CWLB values and global HSE standards.
• Ensure compliance with regional and local HSE regulations, while driving the implementation of global policies and procedures.
• Oversee audit execution, incident investigations, and the timely implementation of corrective actions in line with global standards.
• Analyze HSE data to identify trends, inform decisions, and set regional safety performance targets in collaboration with the APAC CEP team.
• Lead HSEQ planning for new site launches, ensuring full regulatory, customer, and ISO compliance within the first year of operations.
• Support greenfield operations to ensure that the DP World standards, Government regulations, and customer specific HSEQ requirements are implemented during the launch phase and help achieve ISO compliance.
• Manage and develop a high-performing regional team of Senior HSE Managers and HSEQ Launch Leads, fostering capability and leadership growth.
• Drive region-wide HSE training, internal communications, and consistent application of tools and standards across all entities.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in HSE leadership roles, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of global and regional safety standards, legislation, and auditing practices.
• Proven experience leading high-performing teams across multiple geographies.
• ISO certification knowledge (9001, 14001, and experience in implementation is a strong advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
